Elimination Chamber teve lutas de wrestling profissional de diferentes lutadores com rivalidades e storylines pré-determinadas que se desenvolveram no Raw, SmackDown e WWE Superstars — programas de televisão da WWE. Os lutadores interpretaram um vilão ou um mocinho seguindo uma série de eventos para gerar tensão, culminando em várias lutas. Em uma edição da RAW o General Manager anônimo do RAW anunciou uma Raw Rumble entre Jerry Lawler,John Cena , CM Punk , Randy Orton , King Sheamus,John Morrison e R-Truth na qual o vencedor seria N1 contender pelo WWE Championship na Elimination Chamber na qual Jerry Lawler saiu Vencedor .
