The text shown is "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog and feels as if he were in the seventh heaven of typography together with Hermann Zapf, the most famous artist of the". This image is digitally flipped horizontally in order to make the metal moveable letters readable where in a printing press it would be in reverse.
Español: Detalle de un texto compuesto en tipos móviles metálicos. Para que el texto sea legible, la imagen se ha volteado horizontalmente. El texto dice: «El veloz zorro marrón salta por encima del perro perezoso y siente como si estuviera en el séptimo cielo de la tipografía acompañado de Herrmann Zapf, el artista más afamado…». La frase sobre el zorro y el perro es en su versión original inglesa un pangrama, equivalente en función a «Whisky bueno: ¡excitad mi frágil pequeña vejez!».
