FireGL era uma companhia alemã especializada em placas de vídeo para workstation, que trabalham mais especificamente com gráficos, vídeos e variados. Até então, ATI comprou a FireGL, e continuou a comercializar os produtos da linha para workstation. E principal concorrente da NVIDIA Quadro

FireGL Vs Radeon [editar]
Como especificado, a FireGL esta voltada para o mercado workstation,ou seja, desiginado para programas como 3ds Max e CAD como Solidworks. Enquanto a Radeon especialmente para jogos, mas também pode ser usada em programas de criação, mas as FireGl são mais "dedicadas" para algo do tipo.
