Football League First Division 1999-2000 foi a 7a edição da Football League First Division desde que essa passou a equivaler ao 2o nível na Pirâmide do Futebol Inglês. Seu campeão foi o Sunderland que ao lado do Bradford City e Watford conseguiram o acesso para a Premier League 1999-00.

No extremo oposto Bury, Oxford United e Bristol City foram rebaixados para a Football League Second Division.
