Harry Norman Turtledove (Los Angeles, 14 de junho de 1949) é um romancista americano que produziu obras em diversos gêneros literários, como história alternativa, ficção histórica, fantasia e ficção científica.

Turtledove foi definido como "O Mestre da História Alternativa", sendo célebre neste gênero por criar cenários originais como a continuidade do Império Bizantino ou uma invasão alienígena no meio da Segunda Guerra Mundial, e também pelo tratamento inovador dispensado a temas já explorados, como a vitória dos Confederados na Guerra Civil Americana e da Alemanha Nazista na II Guerra. Suas obras são creditadas por popularizar a história alternativa entre o grande público.
