Problema dos três corpos

O problema dos três corpos, originado no estudo da mecânica celeste, tem por objetivo estudar as órbitas de três corpos, sujeitos apenas às atrações gravitacionais entre eles.
O nome problema dos três corpos tem origem em 1747, segundo d’Alembert.1
