Campanulidae (campanulídeas) é a designação dada em nomenclatura filogenética a um grupo de eudicotiledóneas que constituem o clado que inicialmente foi conhecido informalmente como «euasterídeas II».[3][4] O clado é composto pelas seguintes ordens: Apiales, Aquifoliales, Asterales, Bruniales, Dipsacales, Escalloniales e Paracryphiales[5][6]
Descrição[editar | editar código-fonte]
Apesar das Campanulidae não terem sido originalmente identificadas com base em evidências morfológicas, a pesquisa subsequente identificou um conjunto de atributos morfológicos que são característicos do grupo. Entre esses atributos contam-se as folhas alternas com margens serrados ou dentados, as flores epíginas com fusão tardia das pétalas, filamentos dos estames livres e frutos indeiscentes.[7][8]
