Charles Hartshorne (Kittanning, 5 de junho de 1897 – Austin, 9 de outubro de 2000) foi um filósofo americano que se concentrou principalmente na filosofia da religião e metafísica, mas também contribuiu para a ornitologia. Ele desenvolveu a ideia neoclássica de Deus e produziu uma prova modal da existência de Deus que foi um desenvolvimento do argumento ontológico de Anselmo de Cantuária. Hartshorne também é conhecido por desenvolver o projeto de Alfred North Whitehead filosofia de processo em teologia de processo.
