English: An Italian soldier is shown on lookout duty at sunsetatop an armoured vehicle in Afghanistan.

The 35 vehicle Italian Convoy is shown set off from the Provisional Reconstruction Team (PRT) at Heart, Afghanistan, in order to carry out Civil Military Co-operation operations (CIMIC) and Psychological Operations (PSYOPS) in the remote areas of the Farsi district. It took two full days, over dangerous terrain, to reach some of the more remote areas.

The convoy consisted of the Quick Reaction Force (QRF), the Herat PRT/CIMIC, PSYOPS and members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team.
