English: The egg capsules of the mollusc Pachycymbiola brasiliana (Lamarck, 1811)[1] are translucent and yellowish, loose, gigantic and spherical (known as ovigerous capsules). They are thrown on the beaches, having from 5 to 6 centimeters in diameter and containing from 5 to 33 embryos (RIOS, 1994 Op. cit., cites from 9 to 20), in its interior.
