Following now a career in archaeology, I aspire to make contributions to the world of studying the life of men throughout ages, usually between early antiquity to late middle ages, and what I'm lectured most on is history that fits in said period. I've traveled a lot on the Iberian peninsula, I wrote theses, taking interest in things that aren't well documented. I can speak three tongues fluently: English, Portuguese and Spanish, but since I'm Portuguese, my fluency is more evident in articles written in my mother tongue.

Ive been on more churches than I can bother to count, in a country that is not as well documented as I would like it to be and with so much history layered upon itself. My way of trying to reflect my will to act is contributing to Wikipedia by translating articles that are lost because of a language barrier, hoping that I can bring information to everyone.

Why should we not bring things to light? Maybe there is a small little church, lost in the valleys of Portugal, and the only article that we have is in Portuguese and Incomplete. I would love to expand on it, for further studies made by other people that are interested (I know that Wikipedia isn't a reliable source). I also translate them back to Portuguese. My wish is that the Portuguese Wikipedia had complete articles that everyone could read and understand.

I studied the High Middle Ages, taking a keen interest in Pre-Romanesque architecture. The fact that this topic is not heavily studied, mostly because the High Middle Ages was a period of war, change and destruction, leaving us with scarce remains. The rush to propagate the baroque style upon most churches as an attempt at propaganda in the 17th/18th century also altered most of the things that survived.
