Riacho de Santana is a municipality in the state of Bahia. Its population according to the 2010 Census of the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) is 30,651 inhabitants. The state capital is connected by BR-430, BA-262 via Vitória da Conquista, BR-116 and BR-324 South. Another option is to follow the BR-430 until Brumado then take the BR-030 and BR-407 take to the town of Contention Sincorá, then the option is to follow the BA-026 via Maracás to the junction with BR-116 South Shortly after, head to the city of Feira de Santana and pick up BR-324 to Salvador.Riacho de Santana is at a distance of 65 km from Bom Jesus da Lapa, 76 km of Caetité and 105 km Guanambí,important cities of the region.
