Filed Crimes is an american investigation, drama and mystery television series created by Adam Davis and Jessica Wilton. The series debut on April 23, 2018. The series is focused on a family of a father and three children solving filed crimes of California, with the help of professional detectives. All this series of investigations ends up in a specialized unit of filed crimes.
On October 28, 2018 the series was renewed to a ten-episodes season.

The series is focused on Gregory Carpenter, an 48-year-old man who was a former detective, which decide open a special unit to solve unsolved filed crimes, with the help of his children, Matthew (a 30 year-old detective) and the twins Pamela (a 25 year-old prosecutor) and Phillip (legist doctor). To support Gregory's unit, Simone (former Gregory's boss) send three more detectives to work with him: Paula Hughes, Tate St. Claire and Lana Hayes. Gabriel Hughes, son of Paula enters the team as a technical analyst.
Season 1 (2018)[editar | editar código-fonte]
The first season begins with Gregory's memories of his days as detective, with the help of Simone, Gregory can mount his own unit to solve filed crimes that are unsolved. His unit first case is about a man accused of murdering gays men, woman and black people two years ago.
This season was aired between April 23 and June 25, in ten episodes.

The first season of Filed Crimes had a very good audience and was well received by critics, despite being singled out as "more of the same". Even after some criticism, it reached third place inside Blinde's audience, being renewed for its second season.

On October 29, 2018, the series was renewed to a twenty-episodes second season.
