É um peixe de clima tropical e demersal.[3]
Distribuição geográfica[editar | editar código-fonte]
É encontrado no Oceano Pacífico ocidental central: Indonésia, Papua-Nova Guiné, nas Filipinas, nas Ilhas Salomão, Taiwan e Vanuatu.[5][6][7][8][9]
