On frwiki, the bot uses the "hidden" set of templates to hide long long entries (>=2k). There's one to start hiding, and another one to stop hiding. On this wiki, I could only find a single template, so I can't make it work. --Gribeco (discussão) 17h25min de 1 de Outubro de 2008 (UTC)

Hi Gribeco! I verified Usuário:Salebot/Jornal logs entry for 30.09. and 29.09. and in almost 99,99% of cases the edits detected by Salebot would pass correctly as vandalism. Some special cases (auto-categorization/IP-edits on user pages/etc.) I reported (in portuguese) to Kim richard D​ C​ E​ F at Usuário Discussão:Kim richard#Sobre o bot anti vandalismo which is apparently envolved in configuring the bot for ptwiki. Today, my litte sugestion is: Substituting "Bom dia" ("Good morning") by (server-) time-neutral "Olá" ("Hello") (see Bom dia, 189.58.227.235 (...). Ah, ce n'est pas un problème avec br, c'est parce que les modifications sont affichées avec <pre>, qui conserve les lignes d'origine, ce qui les fait déborder quand elles sont trop longues. Olá Gribeco! Peux-tu me fournir les listes des proxies ouverts que tu as bloqué par le passé pour plus de 3 ou 4 ans dans wiki.fr avec proxybot ? J'aimerais les bloquer aussi ici.

En plus, il me semble que proxybot.pt n'est plus synchroniser avec son homologue, puisque inactif.

[edit conflict] I think I found what caused that false positive. The HTML source code of the relevant part of the diff is

<div>[[Ficheiro:<span class="diffchange diffchange-inline">Eva&amp;Juan</span>.jpg...</div>

and because of the <span used to highlight the changes, the regex matches the HTML of this diff. We could just remove the "<" from the character list, but I would prefer to use a negative look ahead if that is available, as in \[\[(Ficheiro|File|Imagem?|Arquivo|Media):([>\[\]\{\}\|]|<(?!span)).

Wrong edit by bot

Your bot wrong revert my edit. Note, that http prefix is double: it put to the URL string from infobox and present in the template. Finally, URL "render" to the double http prefix.
