Steven Paul Kerckhoff (Madison, Wisconsin, 1952)^[1] é um matemático estadunidense, qua trabalha com espaço de Teichmüller.

Kerckhoff obteve um doutorado em 1978 na Universidade de Princeton, orientado por William Thurston, com a tese The asymptotic geometry of Teichmüller space.^[2] Em 1978/79 esteve no Instituto de Estudos Avançados de Princeton e depois na Universidade da Califórnia em Berkeley. É professor da Universidade Stanford.

Dentre seus doutorandos consta Michael Wolf.
