É um peixe de clima tropical e demersal.[5]
Distribuição geográfica[editar | editar código-fonte]
É encontrado no Oceano Pacífico ocidental central: Tailândia, nas Filipinas, Indonésia, Austrália e Fiji.[5][6]

É inofensivo para os humanos.[5]
