Opua atherinoides é uma espécie de peixe da família Gobiidae e da ordem Perciformes.

É um peixe marítimo, de clima tropical e associado aos recifes de coral.[3]
Distribuição geográfica[editar | editar código-fonte]
É encontrado em Moçambique, Papua-Nova Guiné, Palau, nas Seychelles[4] e Japão.[5][6][7][8][9][10]

É inofensivo para os humanos.[3]
