A Mui Excelente Ordem do Império Britânico (em inglês: Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) é uma ordem de cavalaria estabelecida em 4 de junho de 1917 por Jorge V. A ordem inclui cinco classes em divisões civis e militares, por ordem de idade:

• Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (GBE) ou Dame Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (GBE)
• Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE) ou Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (DBE)
• Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE)
• Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE)
• Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE)

Somente os dois níveis superiores são ditos de cavalaria. Também existe a British Empire Medal (Medalha do Império Britânico), cujos portadores não são membros propriamente ditos da ordem, mas são, de uma certa maneira, afiliados à ordem.

O lema da ordem é For God and the Empire (por Deus e pelo Império). É a menor das ordens britânicas de cavalaria e tem mais membros que qualquer outra.
